1. What the extension does

Save To Simsfeed lets you inspect the current page, choose supported images, and open Simsfeed with a draft import flow. The extension is designed to act only when you choose to use it, such as when you click the extension action, interact with the page overlay, or confirm that selected images should be sent to Simsfeed.

2. Information the extension can access

Depending on the page and the action you take, the extension may access or process:

• the current page URL, page title, and basic page metadata used to identify the source page;
• image URLs, image files, alt text, and related metadata for images you choose to review or send to Simsfeed;
• extension settings stored in your browser, such as language preference, blocked-site behavior, and overlay preferences; and
• limited technical state needed to keep the extension working, such as temporary in-browser data used while preparing a draft import.

3. How information is used

The extension uses accessed information only as reasonably necessary to provide its core functionality. This includes using information to detect supported images on the current page, display selection controls, prepare selected files for import, preserve the original source link, apply your extension preferences, and deliver the draft into the Simsfeed composer.

4. Browser permissions

The extension requests browser permissions such as access to the active tab, scripting, tabs, context menus, and local storage. These permissions are used to inspect the current page, inject the image-selection interface, open the Simsfeed import destination, and remember your extension settings between sessions.

5. Local browser storage

Save To Simsfeed stores certain preferences locally in your browser. This may include language selection, whether hover-save controls are enabled, and site-specific extension behavior. That local storage is used to remember your choices on your device and is not intended to function as a hidden analytics profile.

6. When data is sent to Simsfeed

Information is sent to Simsfeed only when you intentionally use the extension to continue an import. At that point, selected images or image-derived files, the page source link, and related draft details may be transferred into the Simsfeed experience so that you can complete a post. Once information reaches Simsfeed, it is handled under the main Simsfeed Privacy Policy and related site terms.

7. Third-party websites

The extension operates on pages you visit, but Simsfeed does not control those third-party websites. The availability, content, metadata, and image behavior on those pages are determined by the site operator. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of copied, referenced, or imported content complies with applicable law and any rights held by creators or site owners.

8. Data sharing

We handle information processed through the extension only as needed to support the import flow and the Simsfeed services you choose to use. In limited situations, information may also be shared where necessary to comply with applicable law or to help protect the security, rights, and integrity of Simsfeed and its users.

9. Retention and deletion

Extension preferences stored in your browser generally remain there until you clear extension storage, remove the extension, or overwrite those settings. Temporary draft-related data may be held only for the time needed to complete the import flow. If you submit content to Simsfeed, retention of that submitted content is governed by Simsfeed's main legal policies.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, or unintended disclosure in connection with the extension and the import flow. However, no browser extension, website, or network transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the extension, the Simsfeed service, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date shown on this page.
